Last night I was bombarded for requests for Carrie Underwood’s flag tank and sequin shorts and I’ll be honest, I had no idea what any of you were talking about.

Monday nights is reserved for LA Complex and the Real Housewives.

And also, flag tanks and sequin cut offs really aren’t in my repertoire any day of the week.

But the outfit sounded familiar enough that I sorted through my own reruns and found this post about Carrie Underwood style from the Country Music Fest last summer.

When this outfit was seasonally more appropriate.

But no less socially acceptable.

If Vincent Chase were a primetime teen soap character

Sometimes when a show ends I think, “whatever happened to that character?”

Sure sometimes a show gives you a glimpse into how everyone ends up. Brooke married Julian. Joey married Pacey.

And now, thanks to LA Complex we know whatever happened to Vincent Chase.

He ended up on Celebrity Rehab.

LA complex fashion: Rules of Thirds

I have to believe that every person who has ever appeared on a non-scripted drama (fancy speak for reality show) has thought they would be the one to get a good episode. Whether it’s a Real Housewife, a Top Chef, a Top Model or a Gallery Girl, there’s a belief that if you watch what you say and do, you’ll come across as relatable, likeable and sane.

But if you were any of these things, you probably wouldn’t be on a reality TV show in the first place.

Sorry, Raquel. You can recast yourself all you want.
