Anonymous, it is very hard to agree or disagree with you, because it is very difficult to follow what you are saying. I suggest you arm your self with a grammar and spelling manual and give it another shot:)On a more serious note (and I am sorry Dana, I know your blog is not about this kind of stuff, so I`ll keep it short) I really find it disturbing that society today is so obsessed with looking at people on TV for `role-models` -- isn`t that what parents and school are for? I grew up LOViNG heavy metal, followed these guys` antics on and off stage, and here I am, not drinking not taking drugs, not worshiping satan, and actually working on my PhD. Can we just look at Emily (and others like her) as a pretty girl whose fashion we love to follow, whom we secretly `hate` for having such perfect skin and hair, and then just get on with our lives?

One of the most disturbing "role models" of our time. A 17-18 yr old daughter of a coalminer owner isn't interested in HS. The teen moves in with her 24 yr old BF. BF dies in a tragic plane crash. BF's obit acknowledges he had this GF. A week later, the GF learns she's pregnant. The GF has the baby. In the next several yrs, the GF moves into 1 and then another McMansion in Charlotte. Next, moves in with her country singer bf in TN/KY. Returns when they break up. Tries The Bachelor, breaks up with Brad. Says she's not interested in the show and gives a slew of reasons why. Changes her mind 180. Emily is as phony as a $3.00 bill. When she isn't calculating the best way to maximize her latest ABC The Bachelor opportunity, Emily shops for herself. She shops, and shops and shops. This is someone young ladies will emulate? YIKES.

Love Emily Maynard's fashion and I can't wait for her to be on the Bachelorette! I think she followed her heart when she broke up with Brad. I can't help but think that Emily's season is going to be very different than all the others yet. Maybe she'll prove those statistics wrong. Sure hope so! hehe God bless her!

I still wish Emily and Brad could have worked things out. That's the part of me that watches the show for love. The bigger part of me (the part that watches for the fashion) is thrilled that Emily is back. After this season's fashion disaster the viewers deserve an immaculately dressed Emily.
