I had the privilege of working with Most Eligible Dallas star Courtney Kerr on a collaboration for OpenSky. The sharp tongued fashionista and I hit it off over our love of shoes, studded handbags and reality TV during Bravo’s first season of Most Eligible Dallas.
When Bravo picked up Courtney for a second season, on the retooled version of Most Eligible, entitled “Courtney Loves Dallas” I thought it would be fun to put together a collection of Courtney Kerr fashion inspired pieces for my OpenSky shop.
Courtney Kerr loved the idea, and even went as far as to make sure the pieces we chose appeared on Courtney Loves Dallas when it airs this winter on Bravo. We brainstormed things that we both loved.
Courtney Kerr fashion is eclectic. She loves anything animal print. From leopard loafers to a cheetah print handbag, Courtney is anything but a subtle Southern Belle.
One of Courtney Kerr’s signature looks is her red lipstick. And though she is known for her ombre locks on season 1 of Most Eligible Dallas, on her 30th Birthday, Courtney shocked her fans taking her tresses to a rich brown hue.
Kerr is a stud fanatic. Studded shoes, handbags and jewelry are Courtney’s weakness, along with gold jewelry from designer Gorjana. I fell in love with Courtney Kerr’s gold initial rings, and added them to my own OpenSky store.
Another thing Courtney and I have in common? Oversized rose gold watches by Michael Kors. Both she and I love rose gold, and comfortably mix it with silver and yellow gold. You’ll never see Courtney without her large men’s style watch and an arm full of stacked bracelets.
One of the styles that endeared viewers to Courtney Kerr in her first season on Most Eligible Dallas, were her bold statement necklaces. Though the most sought after one was an inherited piece from Kerr’s grandmother, Courtney loves bold bib necklaces from JCrew, Bauble Bar and Kenneth Jay Lane.
And it wouldn’t be Courtney Kerr style without her favorite beauty products. Courtney Kerr is all about big hair, red lips, bold eyelashes and big hair. (Did I mention the big hair?)
