The other day I walked into our local Starbucks and was making small talk with the Barista. I noticed a wall full of boxes and asked what was going on. She explained that they’d received a shipment of the holiday praline and chestnut coffee.
“Gross,” I said before clamping my hand over my mouth.
I really shouldn’t talk before my morning coffee.
She laughed, “that’s because you like your venti nonfat latte.”
She knows my order.
The truth is, since I got my Keurig Rivo, I’ve cut way back on my Starbucks addiction. I start out my morning with two homemade cappucinos (the second one is a decaf. Don’t judge me.) And it’s been life changing (for me, if not for Starbucks.) I’ve figured out the perfect combination – a splash of vanilla creamer before the espresso hits the cup – and then I run the milk through the included frother one and a half times for an espresso drink to rival any coffee shop.
Seriously, I think a cappuccino/latte machine is one of those luxuries that most of us are like, “I’d love one, but I’m not sure I’d ever buy one for myself.”
Believe me, I’ve been there.
I reasearched espresso systems for months before getting the opportunity to test drive the Rivo. I’d been leaning towards the Keurig system because of its price (it’s several hundred dollars less than its competitor) and I loved that the pods were available at Bed Bath & Beyond and my grocery store.
I was so thrilled with the Rivo that I asked Keurig if I could have one more…but not for me.
Like I said, a cappucino maker is one of those luxuries that’s sometimes hard to justify (even though the truth is, you’ll probably save money and time making your coffee at home.) So thanks to Keurig, today’s giveaway is a brand new Keurig Rivo cappucino and latte system for one of you.

Disclaimer: I received a Keurig Riva system gratis but was not required to review it in exchange. I really love my Riva and I’m grateful to Keurig for letting me give one away to one of you. Opinions are entirely my own.
