I have never been one for tattoos.
I’m that girl that sits at the beach – or the bar – and judges you for that tribal back tattoo you got in Daytona during Spring break 1997. I wonder what that little heart on your hipbone is going to look like after childbirth. And, yes, I secretly hope that your Sanskrit tattoo doesn’t mean peace.
It means douchebag.
But I have to admit, I’m kind of down with this whole metallic jewelry tattoo trend.
Here’s the thing. I love to wear jewelry, but I’m regularly smacking myself in the face during Downward Facing Dog, when I forget to remove my necklaces. Rings get in the way of my constant computer work. And it’s just entirely too much work getting RSVPs for arm parties during the week.
But I have to admit, I kinda think that a teeny little star on the inside of my wrist would be cute.
As least this week.
A friend of mine recently started Skin Candy, a line of jewelry inspired metallic tattoos similar to those that celebrities like Selena Gomez, Beyonce and Allesandra Ambrosio have been seen sporting. These temporary tats, let you shine like a celeb without sweating the small stuff -including your jewelry when you work out, shower or run errands.
And now one of you can show some skin. One lucky Possessionista will receive three packages of Skin Candy (an over $60 value) To enter, follow the directions below.
