Bachelorette Chris and Des release a poetry book

Desiree Hartsock poem book

Des Hartsock and Chris wrote a book, Y’all

A few months ago, I was approached by a book agent asking if I’d be interested in writing a book. I’m not saying this to brag. Nearly everyone with a blog gets approached at one point or another. But sadly, I have yet to come up with an interesting enough topic to make me advance-worthy.

The same cannot be said for Bachelorette winner Chris Siegfried and his betrothed, Desiree Hartsock who have released a – wait for it – anthology of poems. (yes! said nobody. ever.)

When I first heard about the book thanks to my reader Hallie, I thought it was a joke. But I guess the joke’s on us, because you can now download Chris’ collection of “poems” on the Kindle or iPad for just $7.99.

Because what everyone was hoping for from Des and Chris wereย even more poems.

Bwah ha ha ha. Great commentary. (Sorry to Des!). Sometimes romance is best experienced as a couple versus shared with the whole wide world.

My mom and I both had one of the best laughs of our lives when we saw that Chris was releasing a book of poems. Poor Des, she shouldn’t have put her name on it with him! This is one of those times when even if you love someone, you just have to tell them that rhyming love and dove a few times does not a poet make. Dana this commentary was hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh dear. We’re all testament to a torrid economy in ways big and small; while there are those unable to successfully attend to their socio-economic level in comfort. That brings us to the front door of Chris and Dez. Sadly for this couple, if they must rely on their writing talents or relationship aura to pay the rent, they’re going to be evicted before they can chant the word Haiku.

ok seriously u sound a LOT like gretchen and alexis talking about malibu country. “well, we were approached by malibu country for a role…” i am quite sure you were indeed approached about a book but you can’t help but sound like gretchen. and i’m not sure that’s who u wanna sound like LOL ๐Ÿ™‚

I definitely don’t want to sound like Gretchen, but it is the reason why I couldn’t go to Tamra’s bridal fitting. Otherwise I would totally have been there.

Hahahahahaha! Wow! Worst book ever! His poems are so elementary! Hahahaha this would be a great white elephant gift in a room full of Bachelor/ette fans!
