Beauty and the Beast fashion and style

Beauty and the Beast fashion

Too Bad Possessionista wasn’t around to recap this Beauty and the Beast fashion

One of my fondest memories as a teenager (or an adolescent, if you’re Lindsay Yenter) was watching Beauty and the Beast with my mom in the mid-nineties.

I’m not exactly sure why I opted to skip the CW’s reinvention of the 90′s cult classic. But this morning I got an email from Beauty and the Beast costume designer Catherine Ashton offering to help with Beauty and the Beast style and fashion ID’s moving forward.

Despite lukewarm ratings, I know a lot of you watch the show and so I’m excited to tell you that starting next week, Beauty and the Beast will be part of the Possessionista weekly lineup.

I’ll admit the nostalgic part of me hopes that maybe some of you are 16 right now, making your own memories, watching Beauty and the Beast with your moms.

Though, with the way kids are these days, it’s just as likely that some of you are 16 right now. making memories, and watching Beauty and the Beast with your daughters.

Oh brother.

  2. So excited you will be posting the BATB fashion.
Any of the previous sweaters or jackets Catherine
    has worn would be wonderful.

  3. I was also skeptical at first about the show, but I watched a few episodes recently, and now I’m hooked! Cat (Kristin) wears some cute blouses, dresses, and leather jackets, so I look forward to getting the fashion details from you, Dana.

  8. This is great news. It really is a great underrated show. I love all the clothes Catherine wears.

  9. I’ve loved Kristin Kreuk since Smallville, and started watching this show because of her. I got into the show right away, and really enjoying the interactions of the cast and crew with all the loving fans ! Catherine Ashton is a great asset to the show, and love all the fashion. It’s awesome BATB will be featured on Possessionista! One of my favourites was Cat’s black lace dress in Worth. Can’t wait to hear more about the BATB fashions from you!

  10. Yay! So excited that you will be covering the fashion for BATB! I knew I was a fan when I spied her wearing Joie, one of my favorite brands, and the beautiful Zarita dress from DVF. I would love to know who made the navy coat (with zippers in the seams of the arms) from last week’s episode.

  11. Hi there! I was wondering if you could find Catherine’s combat styled boots for me. I’ve been searching and just about going crazy looking for them. I love them because they have no visible zipper, and look comfortable and so bad ass. If you could find them, I would be thrilled!
