Not unlike Emily Thorne’s plot to take down Victoria Grayson, the storyline on Revenge has gone a little off the rails.
With sub-storylines about drug trafficking, Daniel Grayson’s rise to power and Emily Thorne’s balancing of the two hottest guys in the Hamptons, there’s not nearly enough Ashley Davenport and entirely too much Fauxmanda and Declan for my taste.
But, also not unlike Emily Thorne, I’m committed to seeing Emily Thorne avenge her father’s death and bring Victoria Grayson and her closet full of bandage dresses down in flames.
And if Fauxmanda and Declan happen to end up collateral damage, well, that would be okay, too.

I love this show, and Emily Thorne always looks great, doesn’t she? This emerald dress is killer!
I happen to hate Ashley, but I also hate Fauxmanda. And I don’t love all of these other subplots. Season 1 was much better, imo.

Agree about the subplots and the fact that season 1 was so much better!! I find myself just getting annoyed while watching the show bc it feels more and more like a soap… Like time is standing still and no one can complete their mission, and then there Nolan who had both a girl and a guy lover circling him. But…the fashion is still awesome, and that Alexander McQueen was to die for!
