It was the long awaited relocation of the poorly named Cougar Town. And the cul de sac gang, with Jules (Courtney Cox) at its helm made a seamless transition from ABC to TBS.

In it’s maiden voyage to cable, Jules explored that crucial first week of marriage – and explored whether the things we do in the first 168 hours of marriage determine our lifelong relationship.

With a few more hours of marriage under my – admittedly larger – belt, I laughed now at newlywed me, where I analyzed everything we did in those first months – constantly questioning, “is this what the rest of my life looks like?”

Nearly 10 years later marriage continues to surprise and delight (and sometimes annoy) me.

Sure, he doesn’t make me coffee in the morning any more.

But that’s not nearly as bad as the stuff I don’t do anymore.
