White hot! Carrie Underwood’s white peplum dress by Tony Ward was a stunner in it’s simplicity but it was her gold and black Gio Diev shoes that really made a statement.
You know I love the CMA’s.
Or as I like to refer to it, the Carrie Underwood fashion marathon.
Every year, Carrie changes into more sequins faster than any human being possibly should.
Frankly, I’m surprised no one has accused her of doping yet.
Now that I watch Nashville, I’m practically an expert on all things country music, so I was delighted when Country Music is Love invited me to, once again, recap the best and worst of the CMA fashion. Check out my full recap there (I’ll update the link when it’s live) and in the meantime, check out my pics for Carrie Underwood’s best CMA looks. (Hint: it’s all of them.)

Project hotness: Carrie took stage in this petal pink and gray gown by Project Runway alum Christian Siriano and totally made it work.
Country Mullet: Even Carrie Underwood fashion is Country. this Azala Boatneck Sequin Flare Dress’ from ALICE + OLIVIA BY STACEY BENDET is like a dress mullet. Business on the top. Party on the bottom. If mullets all looked this good, I’d suggest we bring ’em back.
From New York to Nashville, Carrie Underwood rocked this Sally LaPointe fall 2012 navy cut out dress with an Amrapali Victorian Rose Cut Diamond Collar necklace which reportedly sells for $22,600 (via Luxist)
Carrie Underwood deviated from her usual sequins and tulle to don this Chagoury Couture red dress. Looking like she took a page from the Emily Thorne “red is the best revenge” philosophy, I wouldn’t be surprised if she then keyed someone’s car.
Carrie Underwood may not have won for female of the year, but she brushed losing right on her shoulder in a one shoulder black chiffon gown by Ines Di Santo.
We’re never surprised to see the duchess, Kate Middleton wearing this designer, but the reigning country music princess, Carrie Underwood looks just as spectacular in this mint, handkerchief hem frock by Jenny Packham
Carrie Underwood was not messing around for the opening number of the 46th annual CMA’s in this allover sequin long sleeve mini dress by Jovani. They don’t call it the sequin superbowl for nothing.
I dunno about you, but I like my Chakras where I can see them. Hanging in my closet. Carrie Underwood looked totally centered in this gold and black George Chakra dress.
She used her curtains to fashion a dress. Carrie Underwood closes out the show in a sky blue ball gown by Basler That’s curtains for you.
