You know at some point the New Girl is going to have to change its name.

I’m not being a jerk, it’s just a fact.

Nothing is new forever.

In fact, the FTC has rules about this sort of thing. After six months, things really can’t be advertised as “new” anymore.

So maybe instead of the New Girl, they could change it’s name to the Newish Girl.  Or The Girl That Isn’t Really That Old? Or the Girl Formerly Known as New.

Or maybe they’ll just go totally Madonna and give the show one word: Girl.

Alternatively, they could just just change the recipe of the show. Get Jess and Nick engaged. Or bring in another roommate.

In which case they could milk the whole “New” thing for at least another season.

Or Jess could get some new boobs.

And they could call it the “new and improved” girl.
