Modern Family fashion

 Growing up in my family, I was the gateway through which my sister passed when it came to her fashion.

Partly because – let’s be honest – my taste is impeccable.

And partly because if I didn’t like it, I’d harass my sister incessantly until she changed.

Or cried.

To be honest, the fringe shirt Alex wore on Modern Family this week was totally out of character, which I kind of appreciated.

With Haley out of the spotlight in the Dunphy family, Alex will be experimenting with different colors, silhouettes and textures as she discovers her own Modern Family fashion.

Over the next few weeks, I suspect we’ll see Alex’s Modern Family Style continue to evolve. Last week she was goth. This week:a flapper. Maybe next week she’ll try her hand at grunge. Or preppy. Or Sofia Vergara for KMart.

How amazing would a storyline be, if Gloria gave Alex fashion advice?
