Emily Maynard Yellow Dress and Flower Necklace on GMA

Thanks Caryn for the picture. X

Ok @Possessionista- desperate to know who makes the yellow dress @emilymaynard is wearing on GMA! Morgan

You guys know how much I love Lifetime movies. And one of the things that I learned from Lifetime movies is that when you’re on trial, dress like you’re not guilty.

So whether you’ve killed your roommate, attacked your daughter’s cheerleading teammate, or, I dunno, been accused of cheating on your fiance by the tabloids, when you go to plead your case you better damn well look innocent.

Emily Maynard appeared on Good Morning America to address rumors of cheating on Jef Holm wearing a sunny, long-sleeved yellow dress and floral bib necklace (I wrote about first here) looking girly, feminine and totally innocent.

Working title: If I Wore it: The Emily Maynard story

Emily Maynard’s fashion continues…

Dress: Veronica M (similar)
Necklace: J Crew

  1. Please find Emily's lace top and necklace posted today on instagram!!

  2. please find the necklace that she was wearing on jefs instagram in american girl thank u dana ur the best!!!

  3. Without sounding like a hater (honest) what dermatology procedures do you think she does? Her face is beautiful sort of but it looks like she was embalmed. For only 26 why would that be necessary or is that just the “look” for 20 somethings?

  4. She wears tons of makeup to the point of caking it on so thick and maybe has had a few “procedures” when she had her nosejob. Wouldn't put it past her. She's NOT like most American 20-somethings, the vast majority of whom are not teen moms. Also, it's customary in the US for teens to attend college or at least a trade school of sorts.

  5. Wow ^^^ why are people so mean? What's wrong with being kind? Celebrity or not they are still people who have feelings and insecurities and people like the two above make it worse. It's so sad how people's opinions can be so hurtful and hateful. Both are obviously jealous, I've seen Emily in person and she is so stunning it's unbelievable …get a life and be kind.

  6. I think in her possesionista interview from Brad's season, she said that she was really insecure about her imperfections and had had a tendency to put on too much foundation and makeup. I think she looks better when she's going for the natural look, like during the MTA.

  7. Here is something I've noticed. If your obsessively, addicted to a personality or celeb and in their face as we see on Twitter, it's ok. You can bother the hell out of these celebs, post and repost to their accounts, beg for a tweet, beg for a mention, beg for a follow, pretend she's your best friend and form a gang mentality, thats all ok. But if you disagree and have your own opinion maybe even a healthy opinion that your not crazy about this person, or you may like her clothes, but not her personality or WHATEVER, your jealous or a hater. NOT TRUE in my opinion. Ihave seen this Emily gang tear after people as a gang, is this right???

I started stopping by here a month or so ago to get exactly what this blog offers. I love a lot of her clothes, as well as other celebs Dana has here. Im not crazy about Emily Maynard so shoot me. Jealous? Well-No but she does have an extensive clothes and bag collection that I'd like to have Yes. So am I judged badly cause Im not in her face gushing over her and her “perfectness' People!! She isnt perfect your living in a dream world playing right into their game of celebrity . But that's ok, I'll let you think she is the second coming of Jesus if you let people who dont think so, think so! Is that so hard to get?

  8. Ok I went to boarding school with Emily (i was her roommate freshmen year) in Mercersburg. She looks almost exactly the same. She was stunning then and is stunning now. She was sweet, funny, and a great person. I hate reading at the mean stuff! She had great style then at 15, and a lot of clothes! She comes from a wealthy family way before Ricky. Stop bashing on someone you do not know. She is really sweet. and funny as hell. I wish I could afford her style, but thank god for Dana for finding stuff that is in my price change but looks the same! :) LOve this blog

  9. all the mean stuff…and price range… (oops)

  10. YaY now we know for sure 11 years ago she was a sweet funny as hell person with lots of clothes and her parents have money too! She got preggers to another wealthy family. Great career move!..Im going to teach this, exciting concept to my daughter too! “Only have un protected sex with millionaires and stay sweet.” “You will never have to do anything else, you need no talent, no education just seduce that millionaire.” “ohh and one other thing try and get into Bachelor Nation to find a husband. Put your stuff all out there on TV my little Southern Belle and you will live happily ever after.”…I hope she follows my advice.

  11. Geez you are such a bitch. If you hate Emily so much, stop watching her, commenting on her, etc… makes you look pathetic and jealous.

  12. Bitter much?

  13. A bitter pathetic bitch?!? I love Emily's followers. They set the bar high.

  14. First and foremost, Emilu is NOT a celebrity, plain and simple. She WAS on a REALITY TV show for a few months twice, and her TV “career” so to speak, is over. While Dana has so smartly found her cash cow with Emily's fan favorites here who can't get enough of buying her wordrobe items, Dana's resourceful and Emily is just Emily. A former teen mom with a kid, a Twitter and Facebook acct and enough followers who are insatiably envious of her lifestyle. That's fine for you as long as it's fine for intelligent onlookers to have a totally different perspective about a girl who does little with her life beyond shop and take photos of herself to document to strangers.

  15. The only pathetic person, is the one(s) that enjoy bullying and posting ridiculously mean comments on a stranger. YOU are what's wrong with society. It's not about defending Emily…everyone has their problems…it's about not being mean and rude. For the record, you are a worse roll model to your daughter than Emily. At least she's not mean.

  16. you've clearly dedicated more of your time than I have to following her. I just happen to have known her years ago and enjoy her style. Dana's blog is great not just for Emily's fashion, but for other fashion as well. The fact is you have dedicated WAY more time to Emily than anyone else, since you clearly know so much about her. So stop bashing on someone you clearly have a fascination with. You're the same person who says you are sick and tired of certain celebs, but click on stories about them, and then comment on how sick you are of them.

  17. There are Dana's readers charmed by Emily and readers much like me, who would be more than happy not to see another boring, pedestrian piece of clothing worn by that girl. No, I am not jealous of her. our lifestyles and accomplisments couldn't be more different. No, I am unimpressed by Emily. That's not a hater. As she's showcased on this blog about once a day and my colleagues and daughter sometimes what The Bachelor and laugh, it's not difficult to profile her. It doesn't take a lifetime or energy as some seem to think. It's called brains and multi-tasking. Get it? Good.

  18. You seem to think your talking to one person. Personlly, just speaking for me I know her too. That is exactly why I know what I know

  19. Apparently you have not been on Twitter.

  20. I feel like a stalker if I don't leave a message. I had to check the comments. I know Im sick but this stuff is entertaining. I know Im leaving.

  21. I don't find it entertaining… I think it's quite ridiculous actually. This is supposed to be a blog about fashion but somehow it gets turned into arguments about someone's income, life style, accomplishments, etc…Who gives a freaking crap if you feel that you've accomplished more than Emily Maynard? This is about fashion!!! If you don't like her or what she wears, then simply don't look at the posts regarding her! And no I'm not an Emily follower. Just a fashion lover that is sick of the drama!
