Heidi Klum’s off the shoulder snake top on Project Runway

 

In the same way that nothing tops the makeover episode of America’s Next Top Model, nothing quite does it for me like the unconventional challenge on Project Runway.

But this year, Project Runway outdid themselves with a challenge to create an outfit using candy from Dylan’s Candy Bar.

For full disclosure, I actually found myself looting my own freezer in search of a rogue candy bar.

And though there were tense moments – not to mention a total abuse of cotton candy (blasphemy) – I was literally in awe of how some of the contestants transformed rock candy and licorice into contemporary fashion.

Also, I’d be remiss in not mentioning that the candy totally went to some of the models’ hips.
