Despite the still sweltering heat, you can practically feel fall rolling in.
I wake up each morning longing to put on ankle booties, a wool hat and a scarf. It’s my go-to uniform for chilly fall days.
Since discovering fashionABLE a few years ago (seen here and here) these scarves have become my go-to. I love the way they drape and they’re not too short so you can wrap them justright. But what I love most about them is that they’re made by women in Ethiopia as a cyclical rehabilitation program that takes at-risk women out of the sex trades, and teaches them a trade so that they can provide for themselves and their families for life.
I’m not the only fashionABLE junkie. During this season of the Bachelorette, Emily Maynard wore the feelgood scarves to combat her own inclement weather incidents.
