Freebird by Steven Mezal
Generally, I have no problems making decisions. Paper or plastic. Regular or decaf. No problemo. I’m a human magic eight ball.
But today my little brain keeps giving me the same response: Concentrate and Ask Again
I’m torn over these Freebird by Steven boots – but when it comes to pulling the trigger, I can’t decide: Brown or Black.
I’ve visited Singer22, Revolve, Nordstrom hoping the way they’ve styled it will sway me one way or the other, but each time I think Yes, Definitely, my decision grows Hazy.
So I’m hoping you guys will make the decision for me.
Because when it comes to these boots being part of my fall wardrobe It is Certain.

Brown!
First of all, I love these boots!
Usually I go for black boots, but in this case I'd chose brown. Love the more rugged back ties on the brown.
Either way you choose these boots rock.

I always go with black…but I pretty much never wear anything that would match with brown. What color would go with more in your closet? What color boots do you tend to wear on the regular?
Both! I'd probably wear them with skinny jeans, leggings and oversized sweaters. But also casual dresses. Shoot. You guys I think I'm getting both. Help!

These are so amaze! I love both colors but I have to say Black… I think you'll get more wear out of them and I think they are more timeless, but they also work perfectly with that grunde/biker thing that's going on. Black!

I'd definitely go with the brown! There's more of a visible color contrast on the different ankle straps – the textures are much more eye-catching.

Both will go with pretty much everything you wear, they are neutrals. I do love the brown ones, though. They stand out more in my opinion. Either way, you can't go wrong!
I was going to say black, because if there's a choice I almost always choose black. But the more I look at these, the more I love the brown ones! Yes, brown for sure.

My vote is for the brown ones- they just look so cozy and laidback!! I always say if you find something you love, buy it in more than one color, though- maybe start with the brown and if they are comfortable, splurge for the black, too… Love your blog and am such a huge fan!!

I like the black. There is so much detail, and anything more than black is just too much.
I'm a sucker for black…BUT have to go with brown in these. It's way easier to find a black boot with a rough/semi-biker feel (AND for much cheaper) than a brown one. FAB boots either way. Would love to hear what you pick!

Black! because they look more luxurious. Brown are soo simple and boring, when black look so good and edgy with those studs and embellishments!

The black. For sure. The stud detail is awesome, and brown boots are a dime a dozen.
Hands down, THE BROWN! These boots will look fabulous on you and will accent your Fall clothes nicely! If you want a pair of black boots, to have black boots, I'd say find another pair in a somewhat similar style, but don't buy both. The BROWN boots are so sharp they need to stand alone as your everyday boot and without competition from a black pair.

well, they're similar but pretty different if you think about it. the brown ones are more like a navajo style, really country boots (judging by the accessories on both of them), and the black ones are really rocky/edgy ones. so it really depends on what you want, what style you can pull off.
personally, I'd choose the brown ones.

Definitely the brown – these have enough tough details that the black is almost too tough, but the brown is perfect!

I'm probably not going to help much, but do you have more brown or black boots now? Which would you get more use out of? It it was me, I'd pick brown, because I have a ton of black boots and I don't need one more pair. No, wait, yes I do! Aww, shit, don't ask me, I'm a Libra, I can't make a decision either!
