Chris Harrison said in his blog that the reason she was wearing boots with the gown was because Allesandro wanted to take her in the woods, so she had to change her shoes to go with him. Good way to give him the boot too!

I found one on ebay for you guys, but it is navy blue not light grey like mine. Anyhoo, just another way to keep your peepers open for this shirt.
