The return of Glee was as unexpected a surprise as Blaine’s brotherly reunion.
Like Blaine, I’ve been feeling a little apprehensive about Glee coming back into my life. In fact, after a few of the last episodes, I have to admit, I was sort of glad it was off my radar and I could live my life without the constant burden of Glee fashion.
But this week, I discovered a newfound appreciation for my once revered show. Sure, the Rachel and Finn storyline is absolutely unbearable, and I feel like putting Quinn in a wheelchair was more a snub to Artie than an actual cautionary tale of texting and driving (seriously, where was her damaged face? her court date? this could have been much uglier.)
But Blaine. Blaine doing Xtina. Blaine doing Gotye.
It was like I can forgive Glee for all the unneccesary storylines that came before.
Quinn-gone-punk notwithstanding.
