If I’m being honest, when it comes to Revenge style, I act like a jealous girlfriend.
You see, I like to think I’m the Jack to Revenge’s Emily. I was Revenge’s first, tracking Revenge fashion before the pilot even aired. I spoke its praises and lauded its campy drama long before it became the must-tweet show for every person who likes clothes and has a twitter account.
And I never once gave up on us.
And I know that Revenge loves me too. There are hints underneath its cold demeanor. How else would you explain Victoria Grayson breaking the fourth wall and speaking directly to me when she said, “no more bandage dresses?”
But I still can’t help myself, when I see some shiny blogger with their fancy masthead and impressive parent company starting to cover Revenge Fashion, I start to worry. Maybe I’m not good enough for Revenge. Maybe I should start covering Teen Mom? Or the Bad Girls Club.
I just have to remember that it’s Daniel – not Jack – who ends up getting shot at the Fire & Ice party.
Not that those bloggers would even know. I bet they never even watched the pilot.
