Hair Tips from Celebrity hairstylist Frederic Fekkai
· January 11, 2012 · By Dana Weiss ·
You know I’ll take a compliment from anyone.
But some compliments just weigh more.
Like if Chris Harrison tells you that you smell like roses. Or Chelsea Handler says you’re funny. Or Nicole Richie says you look skinny.
Or Frederic Fekkai says you have beautiful hair.
Which he did.
Today I got to meet hair legend Frederic Fekkai and ask him a few Possessionsta questions. He ran his fingers through my hair. And introduced me to the hair product that changed my life.
Possessionista: Who has the best hair in Hollywood?
FF: There’s a lot of great hair in Hollywood. I love Scarlett Johannsen’s natural bob. Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston. And Paula Patton. Beautiful hair.
Possessionista: 2011 was the year of the ombre melt. What was the worst hair trend?
FF: Nothing specific. Just overstyled hair. I like hair that moves and has shine. Healthy hair.
Possessionista: What’s the one thing every woman should do to ensure she doesn’t have a bad hair day?
FF: You have to do something. Don’t leave your house with wet hair. That’s cute if you’re 17. Otherwise it’s going to need some kind of style. Alternate shampoos. Use color treated shampoo one day, and volume or glossing on the other that will change the PH in your hair.
Possessionista: What one product should every woman have in her medicine cabinet?
FF: Glossing cream. In the winter when your hair is dry, this smooths and takes away the fuzzy and gives hair shine.
