Clothes, like love, sometimes appear when you stop looking for it.
Take, for example, this lace, tiered maxi skirt that Rachel Bilson was spotted wearing in July.
For the last two months I have exhausted every last option trying to track down Rach’s lace maxi skirt. I have scoured the Internet, blogs, and even resorted to contacting Rachel’s personal publicist for an ID.
I’d finally found peace with the fact that the skirt wasn’t meant to be, when – while looking for Nina Dobrev’s lace dress from Vampire Diaries (see I do read your emails) – this dress found me.
And I knew the search was over.
I mean for Rachel’s lace skirt.
I still have no freakin’ idea where to find Nina’s dress.

Nina's lace dress is by Alice + Olivia. Spring 2011 collection. No longer in their boutiques, though.

This Willow and Clay maxi dress and skirt was at Nordstrom in t.b.d. and also came in navy and wine.
