First off I want to say that I LOVE your blog and I read it religiously! The reason I am emailing you is to ask if you know where I could find the blue low ruffled v-back maxi dress that Jamie Chung wears in The Hangover 2?? I can’t find it anywhere online and am obsessed with it! And if you can’t find it then any cheap substitutes would be very helpful! Thanks!!

I consider myself a bit of a reality television aficianado.
So when I received the first of, literally, dozens of requests for Jamie Chung’s lavender, ruffle, low cut dress in The Hangover 2, I had to check IMDB to confirm that we are all talking about the same Jamie Chung.
You know, the one from the Real World: San Diego.
It turns out we are. And that’s not the only thing we’re on the same page about.
Because I, too, was dying for Jamie’s purple, low cut, ruffle dress from the rehearsal dinner.
To get the scoop, I went directly to the source. The Hangover 2′s incredibly talented wardrobe designer Louise Mingenbach who filled Possessionista in. Jamie Chung’s rehearsal dinner dress was a custom piece she designed and was made by Los Angeles dressmaker Daniela Kurrle Couture.
And then, feeling so defeated that the dress couldn’t be mine, I buried myself in a Real World: San Diego marathon.
