Hi Dana! I could use your expert advice if you have time. I am going to a 70′s theme party charity event on Saturday. I like the picture of Faith Hill styled like Twiggy so I was thinking of styling my hair and makeup similar to Twiggy. This post comes with a caveat.
I literally know nothing about the history of fashion.
As a result, I don’t know the roots of the color blue. Or the difference between a sheath and a shift.
And I think the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s are all the same decade.
I say this because I am about to post some adorably affordable retro dresses, that, to me, embody the spirit of Twiggy. And I am certain without a shadow of a doubt that 90% of them are from the wrong decade.
So, if you do know something about history and you want to correct me, just save your comment.
Because, like, who cares?
