I saw "I Love You Man" this weekend.
It was good, not great. I mean, better than Zack and Miri Make a Porno, but nowhere as good as Role Models.
The highlight of the movie is Rashida Jones, who is like the anti- Nicole Richie. She's what Nicole Richie could have been, were it not for the heroin and Paris Hilton. I mean, if Nicole Richie and Natalie Portman had a baby, it would be Rashida Jones.
Jones plays this adorable, seemingly orphaned girl named Zooey - which, incidentally is pronounced the same as Zoe, (not ZOO-ey) thus changing my initial interpretation of the classic J.D. Salinger novel, Franny and Zooey.
Sike.
Zooey wears something yellow in practically every scene, including the one where she's wearing this adorable Banana Republic ink blue embroidered blouse, that I bought last summer.
And even then she wears a yellow cardigan over it.
But the standout of the movie is not Rashida Jones. It's this darling yellow, circle detail blouse (pictured above.)
I can't actually remember the rest of her outfit because I was blinded by the awesomeness of her shirt.
But from what I can recall in the afterglow of this vision of blouse beauty was a cute pair of trouser jeans and a fun, colorful, wide braided belt. So I put together an outfit similar to Zooey's - and you don't need Rashida's paycheck to get it, either.
If anyone can ID the shirt, I'll give you the credit.
And I just want you to know: I love you, man.
