I’m not telling you this because I think that somehow the probability of your securing an US Weekly cover is, in any way, related to the size of your shoe. But, rather, because I know many large and small-footed ladies think you can’t get a great shoe in an odd size.
My sister, for example, wears a size 4. Up until about five years ago, she had to settle for mediocre shoes from the children’s department. Now her shoe wardrobe – ranging from 3.5-4.5- would make Imelda Marcos envious.
Today at a music class, my friend Steph asked me to help her find a dressy shoe she can wear with jeans that’ll take her from winter to summer. In a size 11.
So here are some suggestions for those of you with “curvy” feet.
Here’s a tip: Large and small sized feet? Call your local Nordstrom. Most stores hold an annual big and little shoe sale, where they feature tons of shoes in your sizes. And they open early, so the store is all yours.
Just one more reason why Nordstrom is the happiest place on Earth.
