The plight of the curly haired girl
· January 26, 2009 · By Dana Weiss ·
You’d think a Recessionista would embrace her natural beauty, right?
WRONG.
I am sorry, but unless you are Giselle, or, like one of three people I have met in my life, natural curls just aren’t attractive. (And before you take offense to this, you just might be one of those three people, so settle down.)
But, I, for one do NOT have good curls. And I am not Giselle. So, for years, I have spent countless hours in front of the mirror, round brush in one hand, hairdryer in the other, trying to transform my hair from Carrot Top to Jennifer Aniston (in the latter part of Friends.)
But then I found it – a Recessionista must have. This little secret will cut your blowdry time in half. It eliminates those annoying little hair “bumpies” in the back of your hair. And, best of all, it costs $22.99.
So I said good bye to my weekly blow out and hello to my Con Air 1875 Styler.
love it…so old school. my dad’s been rocking one of those dryers for as long as i can remember!
